College Tech ESSENTIALS

Welcome back to BeastTechnology! As a fellow college kid, I'm going to make a list of the tech you NEED to survive in college! I'll be looking at qualities of products based on a value perspective, where us poor college students can get the most BANG for our BUCK.

Laptop: 2020 MacBook Air

This one is an easy recommendation. The M1 chip packs all the power you need, with a battery life that will last all day long! The keyboard is fantastic for writing papers on, and the webcam is perfect for Zoom calls that have become the norm for college nowadays. The form factor is great, so light and fits right in your backpack. Not to mention, the price of this laptop is an absolute bargain. Regularly on sale on Amazon, you cannot find a better price for a MacBook. At under a thousand dollars, this is an absolute steal of a deal. Be sure to steer clear of the Intel 2020 MacBook Air, as for a little more money the M1 MacBook Air is worth the upgrade.

Headphones: Apple AirPods Pro

The best pair of all around headphones have to be the AirPods Pro. They have excellent sound quality, great microphones, and fantastic noise cancellation to keep you focused whether you're studying in a library or a coffee shop! Not to mention, they are regularly on sale on Amazon for $179, down from their retail price of $249. If those aren't in your budget, a backup would have to be the 2nd Gen AirPods. You can grab them here for $119 on sale right now! Similar sound and similar microphones will carry you through your day just as well as the AirPods Pro would.

Charger: Anker USB-C Charger

With all this tech in your backpack, something vital is a way to keep everything juiced up! When you're on the go, you don't want to be carrying around all these different charging bricks, and that's where this Anker charger comes in! It has 2 USB-C ports and one USB-A port for charging your phone, computer, and headphones all at once. It is the perfect addition to your backpack, saving you space and keeping your tech charged up!

I hope you enjoyed a few items on my Tech essentials list! These are what personally get me through everyday, and I hope they will get you through college too.
